Careers Resources
Below you will find a range of information and resources to support careers exploration in line with DfE guidance and the Gatsby Benchmarks, in particular benchmark 2 - 'Learning from career and labour market information':
Careers Guidance
Edgbarrow School buys in careers guidance from an external, impartial careers guidance adviser. All students will be offered careers guidance in-line with the Department of Educations ‘Careers Guidance and access for education and training providers’ statutory guidance issued in January 2023.
This will be delivered in a range of ways including via group workshops, 1:2:1 appointments, during PSHE, at Student Progress Evenings, assemblies and the annual careers convention. Students, Parents and Carers can access further information to support careers research and option choices via the school website.
