Roadworks impacting Pinehill Road from 23rd March

Roadworks impacting Pinehill Road
We have just been informed by SGN that the roadworks on Sandhurst Road will be impacting the entrance to Pinehill Road from Saturday 23rd March until Thursday 28th March. This will cause significant disruption for vehicle access to the school. I would ask that, given the limited vehicle access, priority is given to staff and residents to avoid gridlock. Therefore, please can I ask that students travel to school on foot or bike next week, or are dropped off well away from the school. Can I also ask that students do not arrive at the site prior to 8.30am as staff will be using the Sandhurst Road entrance and will need to travel across the playground to access the car park.

Specific details: Saturday 23rd – Thursday 28th March 2024
Cars will not be able to turn left into Pinehill Road when traveling from Crowthorne Village (cars will be able to turn right if traveling from the Sandhurst direction). There will also be partial closures along Pinehill Road that will cause further disruption. I understand that this will coincide with closure of Church Street and Lower Broadmoor Road which will further diminish available drop off points.
Disappointingly, SGN have informed us that the work cannot wait until the holidays.

I am sorry for the inconvenience this will cause. I hope that a spell of exercise will be good for the heart, environment and help to ensure everyone arrives on time! Good luck.
